We believe that a commitment to the principles of corporate social responsibility (CSR) complements our core business strategy and corporate values. Our policy is based on the following principles:
  • Minimise the impact that our work has on the environment and the people around us
  • Integrate our Corporate Social Responsibility considerations into all our business decisions
  • To review, annually report, and to continually improve our CSR performance
To help define our policy, we have divided it into key areas:

Equality Opportunities and Diversity

Relates to treating people the same, although they may belong to certain groups. Everyone is different, and diversity is about recognizing, respecting and valuing the differences we each bring to work. Equal opportunities and diversity work together by addressing the inequalities and barriers faced by people in under-represented groups and by valuing, learning and benefiting from the diverse cultures in society and our staff.

Health and Safety

The health & safety management system, as an essential part of the business, aims to prevent, during the course of the work or duties being undertaken, any accidental occurrence which may directly or indirectly result in: injury or occupational ill-health to any person; damage to or loss of any plant, equipment or property; adverse impact upon the environment.

Environment

We recognize that excellence in environmental performance and legislative compliance is consistent with our corporate objectives and essential to our continued business success and we will ensure that, environmental policies, programs and performance standards are an integral part of our planning and decision- making process.
