The NRSWA Unit LA - Location & Avoidance of Underground Apparatus course is a 1.5-day program designed to provide essential training on the safe and accurate location of underground utilities. Participants will learn how to identify, avoid, and work safely around underground apparatus using appropriate detection techniques and safety practices. Ideal for those working in excavation or site management, this course offers hands-on experience led by experienced instructors.

Certification: From CABW.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certification recognizing their competence in the location and avoidance of underground apparatus, meeting the requirements of the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA), HSE HSG47 guidelines, and HAUC specifications.
